Thursday grocery shopping with the boys

This is Jake NOT taking his afternoon nap!!

Every Thursday night my family and I get together for dinner with my brother and his wife. We alternate houses as well as dinner and dessert. Dinner is over at Erik and Jenny's tonight so it is my turn to make dessert. This is my latest creation. It is Paula Dean's Banana Delight but I kicked it up a notch by adding fudge and caramel sauce. I also used the mini wafers instead of the reagular ones. We'll see how it goes!

I still don't know why I can't lose the last bit of pregnancy weight!

Here is Reidy helping me put away groceries after a trip to Sam's AND Walmart. They both behaved wonderfully. Jake even fell asleep in the cart. Maybe that is why he won't nap now!

Ready for school

Getting dressed this morning was tough. Jake considered these clothes "church clothes" and as he will tell you wearing church clothes "creeps him out"!! I told him that wearing tennis shoes makes them school clothes instead of church clothes. He didn't buy it!

Jake is telling me its time to get movin'!

Reid is always following Jake around in the mornings. He looks for him after he is gone. It is very sweet how much they seem to enjoy each other. I wonder how long that will last.

Jake finally accepted his clothes and now he is ready for school. This is his tiger lunch bag that he takes his snack in for school.
